M+ Business Card

Music Plus TV, Inc., 2007

Business Card Front and Back

This is probably one of my favorite pieces. I remember it took me a really long time to convince the higher-ups that this was the way to go. Clean, elegant, and a monstrous plus sign. If I had another chance at it, I would probably try some other ways to present the personal infoformation.

If there's one thing that I really love, it's informational design. I love charts and graphs. And there's something to be said about the satisfaction of sifting through tons of information and creating a hierarchy of relevance. Don't get me wrong, it sucks when you're doing it, but the pay-off is pretty and worthwhile, and thusly, pretty worthwhile.

Surrge Artist Card

Artist Card Front and Back

Surrge was a short-lived company, but an ambitious one nonetheless.

The music industry is a funny beast, unlike the one that Belle has to deal with. Having worked on a music site for a few years, I have only sympathy and encouragement for any dot-com that tries to cover any music scene. So if you can, support your local/global music website.

And local/global music, of course.

After a few issues of Volume 1, I took over as Lead Designer on Volume 2. Having done publication layouts in my younger years, it was refreshing to get back into dealing with picas, bleeds and InDesign. Look out for my online magazine coming out in early August 2001.

Becoming involved with presentations has really opened up my love for graphs and designing information. Give me more graphs, please.
